Shepherd’s Pie is a hearty dish with seasoned ground beef, peas, and carrots, topped with mashed potatoes and melted cheese, then baked until golden.

- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Prepare mashed potatoes according to package directions. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium. Add beef, onion & garlic. Cook 8-10 minutes or until beef is browned.
- Add broth, flour, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning & pepper. Simmer 5-8 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in peas & carrots.
- Pour mixture into a large baking dish & spread evenly. Layer with mashed potatoes & spread evenly. Top with cheese.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven & let cool slightly before serving.
